Aqiqah invitation wording

What to write on an Aqiqah invitation. Many families hold it on the seventh day after the birth, or soon after.

Aqiqah or Aqeeqah: both are used. Write the one your family uses.

What goes on it, in order

  1. The Bismillah
  2. Alhamdulillah: the news of the baby
  3. Their name
  4. Who invites: the parents or the grandparents
  5. The day, and the Islamic date
  6. The time and the place
  7. When to reply by

For a daughter
